Kathy’s Korner - August 29, 2011
Well, I am headed back to America on
Sept.6th
for the birth of our first girl grandbaby.
She already has a name which is Peyton
Nicole Bohler. She will actually be born on
the day after I arrive, whew, close call.
I am a little sad about leaving my
husband for two months because he will not
be coming till Nov.15th.
We have never been separated this
long before except when he went to Bolivia
for 11 days.
For the past 20 years we have been
side by side so please pray for me.
Since I will be with my family I am
very excited but need prayer because I want
to be a light to them. They will see me as
mommy, grand mom, and sister but I want them
to see Jesus Christ in me. Being in Ireland
for the past three years has taught me how
important the souls of people are. Though
they are family I want to see them as souls;
some saved some lost.
There is a missionary in New Zealand
(Dawn) who has really encouraged me to be a
witness. She flew back to be with her
sisters and she was a witness in the
airport, the plane, and everywhere. I want
to be a witness like that, everywhere! Her
experience made me excited about seeing my
family and being a witness.
I really believe God gave me this
trip alone because He wants me to be a
faithful witness like I have tried to be in
Ireland. I see this trip as a blessing!
Everybody thinks I came to Ireland because
of Dan, and that is true but really I was
obeying the Lord. I want everybody to see
that, and also to see how Christ has changed
me.
Please pray for me, that whatever
God’s purpose and will is for me that I
would know it and do it. These two months
without Dan will be a learning and growing
experience. I want to please the Lord while
I am back in the States. Without Jesus
Christ going before me and going with me I
will not accomplish what He has sent me
there for. I am leaving one mission field
for another. That’s what missionaries do,
right?
